beef-vege lasagna
mak always made lasagna almost-always-at-least-once when bangrin came home for the holidays. and we are so used to mak's delicious lasagna that any other kind of lasagna just wont do. I don't really like the lasagna people sell in shops mainly because it's so bland and boring.
mak's lasagna always had a kick, must have the malaysian taste (fry in some chili-boh with the onions to make it a bit spicy), and is always full of veges. I know some people like lasagna with only meat in the red sauce, but i prefer it with veges. usually I use carrots, cellery, cabbage and mushrooms but mak also usually uses spinach leaves. this way you can actually use less beef (hence making it cheaper), more filling and more healthy!!
