cannelloni is a tube-shaped pasta cooked stuffed and usually served baked with a sauce.

what i made was baked beef and spinach cannelloni with cheese sauce. 

i made the beef and spinach filling basically the same as i make the lasagna red sauce, but with more spinach and also much dryer and you also have to make sure that everything is finely2 chopped. i then stuffed the filling in (with the help of kakgie- tiresome work!!) and laid them in the pan, and then poured cheesy white sauce (just like in lasagna only cheesier) over the top, baked until the cheese sauce is bubbling and golden brown. you might even say it's a glorified lasagna .
